A sports man and one time squash player, Pat is a fan of football, indeed he refereed for the Bradford leagues, he talks of those days fondly. He became the poet in resident Farsley Celtic Football Club. However before that he had many trades, Soldier, Clerk, Engineer, Driver come Roadie with a soul band, touring working men's clubs of West Yorkshire and once in Crosshills, North Yorkshire and now in telesales. His believes his writing reflects his up bringing as a Gooleigan, the sound of factories, mills, jennies, railroads, water and wind. His work has the feeling of the 'working class' man in the world of telesales, who has the Soul of the Blues.

As a member of the Bradford Interchange Writers Network, he plays one of his 23 harmonica, performs his poetry, and tinkles on his keyboard, sharing his lyrics with all about him. - He has now set up his own group hEar4Words so no one can stop him, now. He plays at as many local events and venues as he can and blasts one off with local bands, at their gigs. Patrick has some poetry books published, 'Where the Words Lead', 'Words From Beyond Do not R.I.P' and 'Words One Year On Delayed' ( Delayed until he can afford to publish it. ) Plus many poems in anthologies. Patrick is a prolific writer, it's not been unknown for him complete up to twenty poems and lyrics in a day. The words just seem to pour from his mind onto the page, like the music from his 24 harmonicas (harps). Poems you can't help but listen to when he hammers them out on his organ and sucks at one of his 25 blues harps.

So why the 'Blues' Well Patrick loves Blues and Soul music. His influences are Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, John Lennon, Rod Stewart and Otis Redding and across the range of early Blues Legends such has BB King, Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy, James Brown, Little Richard and Charles Edward Berry ( Chuck as he is better known to his friends, ) all of which can be seen in the performances of the 'Reverend' (PB). A great fan of the films The Blues Brothers and The Blues Brothers 2000 'I am the British Blues Brother as I feel I have the same spiritual father as Jak & Elwood.' He tells people, who understand him, 'in my film Jak and Elwood, find out they have a brother in England and they only have a limited time to find him, after their farther's final will is read out. I'm writing the screen play right now. There's music, chases and lots of fun, and me.'
